Caleb Zipperer is a furniture designer and engineer who has lived and worked in Brooklyn for many years. After apprenticing for a number of different designers including Dakota Jackson — and working as a bike messenger to support himself in the intervening years — Zipperer opened his own studio in 2010. Since then, his pieces have been exhibited at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. They have also been featured in various publications including Dwell, Core77, Modenus, Surface, New York Magazine, and 2 Modern, to name a few. He recently designed all of the furniture at the closing benefit for Exit Art in Chelsea, as well as the benches for the Fair Folks Café in Soho.
